Cape Cod Kayak

Message: Kim was fantastic! New kayaker. not knowing much about it and she explained all the options and pros and cons. CCK is going to be an excellent resource for us - for gear, classes and where to go! One stop shopping.

Message: I went to their store to find out about tours. Kim was so helpful, describing the tour options and helping me decide which would be best for me. The store is well stocked with boats, paddles, PFDs, car top racks, safety gear, etc. The sunset tour left from Mergansett Beach. Alyssa showed up right on time and I was lucky that the others had cancelled so it was just me and Alyssa. The kayaks provided were clean, very nice Eddylines, unlike most places that provide cheap beater boats as their rentals. Alyssa was equipped with a pump, first aid kit and throw line, just in case. The paddle brought us through a lovely area featuring both gorgeous waterfront homes and wild areas. The water was calm and smooth, making it a great trip for kids or beginners. We followed the shoreline of a bird sanctuary that was home to many different species. Alyssa has sharp eyes and good birding knowledge, helping ID some birds that were unfamiliar to me. We were treated to a dusk feeding frenzy of Common Terns who were flying all around us and diving into the water close to our boats. The sunset was striking, but isn't that usually the case here on Cape Cod??? But seeing it while on the water always makes it better! Kim greeted us at the end of the trip. She had taken some nice photos of us paddling with the sunset behind us and offered to send them to me. Overall, Cape Cod Kayak exceeded my expectations. I'm just a visitor to the Cape but my sister lives here. After hearing about my wonderful experience she is considering booking a tour next week when she has visitors from California. She won't regret it, I'm sure. And you won't either! Give Cape Cod Kayak a try.

Message: I am not expert in kayaking but kayaks offered here were bit faster but unstable. This lead to fall of one of our fellow. However they provided really fantastic service in pick up and drop. We paid some 200 for 3 kayaks, bit steep but ok.

Message: We were first time kayak buyers five years ago and Kim spent several hours helping us choose kayaks, paddles, and PFDs. Both Kate and I were struck by how kind and competent she was. We ended up buying a car roof rack as well. And we enjoyed the complimentary on-the-water orientation tour. Our two original Eddylines are still in great shape and in use often. This summer I am adding and Eddyline tandem and a Sitka LT, several paddles, and a fantastic SIC SUP. In a crazy year where no one has inventory and everyone seems to want to buy watercraft, Kim and her team have kept calm and super easy to deal with. Highly recommended.

Message: Kim was so nice and accommodating. We spent a few hours on Picture Lake with the kids. We had a picnic on the beach. The kids both passed out on the way home and asked when we can go back. This was a great family day.

Message: Kim and her team are incredible. We had a custom composite boat made which turned out beautifully but it was Kim's dogged determination and attention to detail that got the project done. We have bought 2 boats from Cape Cod Kayak and cannot say enough about their custom service.
